What makes it different

The whole inside is lined in silk — not a small panel stitched in for the photo. The hard ridges where the panels meet are wrapped in fabric, and the brand label is covered instead of sticking out.

There's no Velcro anywhere: it adjusts with a metal clasp at the back.

NOLL is a hat, not a treatment. Pattern hair loss is driven by genetics and hormones, and no hat prevents or reverses it.

What a hat can do is add friction. NOLL 01 is built to reduce the unnecessary kind — rough seams, raw labels and a coarse band pulling at hair. If you're dealing with hair loss, speak to a doctor or dermatologist.

Will this stop my hair thinning?

No. Pattern hair loss comes down to genetics and hormones — a hat doesn't cause that and a hat can't treat it. That's true whoever you are.

What a hat can do is add friction. Rough seams and a coarse band pull at hair every time it goes on and comes off. That's the part we built around. If your hair is thinning, see a dermatologist.

Do hats cause baldness?

There's no good evidence that normal hat wear causes pattern baldness. The narrower, honest version: a tight or rough hat worn constantly can contribute to breakage and pulling at the hairline.

Why silk?

It's the smoothest thing you can put against hair — same reason people sleep on silk pillowcases. Rough cotton grabs; silk lets hair slide. We line the whole inside with it, because hair doesn't only touch one spot.
